It spans McIntosh's most desirable eras: tube amplifiers including the MC 40 and MC 250, solid-state power amps like the MC 2505 and MC 2205, the C 28 preamplifier, the MX 113 tuner, a THX-certified MX130 A/V control center, and multiple pairs of McIntosh speakers including the ML-10C and XR3 Isoplanar Radiator systems. McIntosh has been the benchmark for American high-fidelity audio since 1949, instantly recognizable by its glowing blue output meters, and vintage pieces — especially the tube models — remain some of the most sought-after and consistently appreciating gear in the collector market.
