SOLD! Miami Vice 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder

Most Miami Vice fans and car buffs know that Crockett's Ferrari from the 1984 television show Miami Vice was not an authentic Daytona Spyder. The Ferrari on the show was a replica built on a 1981 Corvette C3 chassis by McBurnie Coachcraft, who initially produced two examples and a few more after the initial two. The show used a replica because Ferrari North America refused to supply authentic Ferraris to the show. Crockett's Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder starred in the first two seasons, but discontinued the Corvette/Daytona due to a lawsuit filed by Ferrari against McBurnie Coachworks.

Very few of these examples have survived and this one has an amazing 13731 miles. It is part of an estate we are helping settle. Below is a link to the NO reserve auction in partnership with our friends at Hagerty Marketplace.
