How much do you charge to list an item? We charge 25% of the final selling price plus an additional 4.8% to cover eBay fees. From our commission we pay the 2.9% PayPal fees, shipping insurance and materials costs. At least half of our auctions sell overseas. This overseas market helps increase the final selling price of the item which can cover much of our commission.
Do you have a minimum? Yes – we only take items that have an individual value $100 or more. We specialize in high ticket items with a value of $1,000 and up.
How do I know what my item is worth? Items are worth what someone is willing to pay. We can provide a free valuation of your items through online research. You can e-mail us pictures and/or lists of what you have to be researched at questions@sellitnowstore.com or on our contact form,
What is selling on eBay? There are many items that sell well on eBay. Currently vintage audio equipment like McIntosh, Marantz, Dynaco and Klipsch items bring high bids. In addition, musical instruments specifically Fender and Gibson guitars and amplifiers are popular. Gold, watches and jewerly are of interest especially overseas. As always we sell many jukeboxes, slot machines and pinballs internationally.
Can I set the selling price? Yes – You can work with us to determine the best pricing strategy.
If you have an established, ongoing sales program with us, you may
want to test alternative auction and fixed-price formats for your
items.
What if my item doesn't sell? If the item is at our warehouse and it doesn't sell,
you may pick
up your item or donate it to charity.
Do I need to drop off my items at your store? You can drop items off or we can arrange to pick them up.
What if I need the money right now? If the item can be sold on eBay and you do not want to wait for us to list the item, we have a quick cash option.
What is eConsignment?
Recent eBay® statistics show that most individuals have between
$3000-$5000 worth of old collectibles or antiques sitting around in
their basements, garages or attics gathering dust. What many people
don't realize is these items can be valuable.
Why collect dust when you can collect money? No need to waste time
researching item values or trying to figure out how to post on eBay®
and no hassles trying to learn how to expertly pack and ship
merchandise. Leave that to the experts. |
