Listing Specialist

Position Description Under general supervision of the Manager of Operations & Listing Services provides packing and shipping support as well as contributes to auction listings Beginning Date Immediately Salary Commensurate with Experience Duties - Maintain knowledge of shipping provider’s size and weight limitations as well as policies. - Properly pack consignment items for domestic and international shipping under the guidelines of shipping provider’s policies. - Manage, maintain and update the inventory of items in the Awaiting Shipping queue. - Use online utilities to purchase postage and schedule pickups. - Use the Internet to generate an item valuation and assemble auction descriptions. - Capture, edit and post digital pictures for online listings. - Assemble and manage online sale listings which includes answering questions and invoicing buyers. - Assist with customer pickups and house calls. - Provide customer service, answer phones and respond to e-mails. Qualifications - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to use critical thinking to make decisions. - Familiarity with eBay is a plus. - Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 100 pounds. - Ability to work in a team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and OneNote. 2. Ability to use the Internet for research purposes. 3. Familiarity with online sales specifically eBay auctions. 4. Familiarity with online sales specifically eBay auctions. 5. Ability to perform digital photography.
